Production of Advanti will soon be pushed to higher levels upon the adoption of one of Japan’s most exclusive wheels manufacturing technology. The ADFF tm (Advance Forming Technology) will raise the technical standards of each Advanti wheel. Each wheel will be stronger yet lighter than before making Advanti’s aftermarket wheel Truly Desirable.

The market trend for high performance wheels demands that wheel and tire sizes are getting bigger and bigger. With bigger wheels the resulting weight increase under the vehicle’s suspension can compromise the vehicle’s handling abilities; therefore compromising driving and safety standards. AFT tm comes in at this critical point to address and solve this problem.

ADFF tm is an evolutionary technology that combines monoblock cast wheel technology with a flow-forming technology. This procedure turns the wheel over a special mandrel while high pressure hydraulic rollers are applied. The result of this process is thinner wheels therefore reducing the weight of each wheel. The wheel is actually “flowing” down to create the full rim width, allowing this process to improve the alloy properties of each wheel drastically ensuring that the wheel’s strength is not compromised.

Compared to normal cast wheels (Gravity and Low Pressure), ADFF tm can be fully automated and demands high technical knowledge. As a result, ADFF tm wheels are up to 15% lighter than cast wheels and many times stronger. The strength improvements are very evident in elongation and tensil strength, making ADFF tm wheels the favored choice for many high performance race cars.

ADFF tm wheels are also a good substitute for forged wheels. During ADFF tm, pressure is applied to the cast rim changing its mechanical properties making its strength and impact values similar to those of a forged rim. The light weight wheels made from the evolutionary technology achieves strength and anti-flex similar to forged wheels yet does not incur the exorbitant costs involved in the manufacturing of forged wheels.

Scuderia Toro Rosso (STR) drive, 21 year old Sebastian Vettel , youngest ever to stand on top of the Formula 1 Champions podium beats all expectations and creates history with his amazing feat. Leading the race from start to finish, Vettel’s excellent performance left 1st runner up, Heikki Kovalainen (Mc-Laren – Mercedes) 12.5 seconds in his dust. This amazing feat from Sebastion Vettel puts him in 9th position in the drivers standings and brings STR to the 6th position (27 points), before Redbull and after Renault.

Advanti Racing, official supplier to Scuderia Toro Rosso (STR) F-1 team. This weekend was the German round at Hockenheim and Toro Rosso’s Sebastian Vettel placed 8th for one point and his teammate Sebastion Bourdais finished 12th in a tough race won by Brit Lewis Hamilton in the Enkei sponsored McLaren – Mercedes. The STR Ferrari team is now in 9th place in the constructors championship with 8 points.

On the 14th of June, potential large scale wheel distributors from all over Taiwan were invited to the Gu Hua hotel in Taoyan, Taiwan to attend Advanti Racing Alloy Wheel’s first ever product launch in Taiwan. A total of 25 distributors and journalists from 4 renowned Taiwanese automotive magazines arrived at 10 am despite heavy rains to attend this product launch, which was led by Mr Richard Tay, Managing Director of the YHI Group.

Through Mr Tay, all guests got to know the scale of operations of the YHI Group, and the achievements of Advanti Racing Alloy Wheels around the world, F1 Scuderia Toro Rosso partnership and the future plans of Advanti.

The Automechanika Middle East, the Middle East regions’s largest automobile aftermarket show achieved astounding results as visitor traffic passed 18,500 as more than 950 exhibitors from 45 countries conducted business. This exhibition was attended by visitors from all over the Middle Eastern region namely UAE, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bahrain and Kuwait.

YHI Manufacturing and Advanti Racing wheels participated in this large scale exhibition with a stylish and futuristic booth featuring the new Advanti Formula One wheel along with Scuderia Toro Rosso showcar.

UAE Minister of Trade, attracted by the grandeur of the Advanti booth also visited the star of the exhibition.
